This is a follow up to my previous post. I'm happy to say that both Chakra Babies look amazing, and I was able to send out a majority of the orders I had for them! That said, there were a couple of variants that needed to be remade.
Chakra Baby #9
As you know, Rose Gold Chakra Baby #9 has been switched to Gold plating for remakes. I have received Gold Chakra Baby #1, and am confident that the Gold Chakra Baby #9 pins will be beautiful.
Chakra Baby #1
I was able to properly clean a fair amount of the Black Nickel variant and they look great, however Black Nickel pins are still being remade on principle.
To avoid the quality issue that Rose Gold Chakra Baby #9 had, the tanuki will be Gold plated instead of Rose Gold plated. It’s my understanding that this does not change the completion date, so I do not expect any additional delays because of that change.
How does this affect me?
My manu will be shipping both remakes together, so I do not have an eta at this time. Both are in production, and I will keep you updated on their progress whenever I receive more information. This means that if you have an order that contains the Gold Chakra Baby #9 remake, there is still a bit of a delay but I am in daily contact with my manu so please don't worry!
